Your Prenatal Journey at Foley Ob and Aesthetics

Scheduling your initial prenatal visit as soon as you suspect pregnancy is essential. Regular prenatal appointments are crucial for monitoring both your well-being and your baby’s health. These visits allow us to detect any potential issues early, preventing them from becoming serious concerns.

Prenatal Care

Here’s a general guideline for the frequency of your prenatal visits:

  • Weeks 6-28: Monthly check-ups to track your progress and ensure both you and your baby are developing well.

  • Weeks 28-36: Bi-weekly appointments for closer monitoring as you advance in your pregnancy.

  • After Week 36: Weekly visits to provide thorough care and prepare for delivery.

For those with high-risk pregnancies—due to factors such as age, existing health conditions, or other considerations—we may recommend more frequent visits. This allows us to offer targeted support and vigilant monitoring to safeguard both your health and your baby’s.

At Foley OB and Aesthetics, we are dedicated to offering personalized, attentive care every step of the way throughout your pregnancy.

Labor & Delivery

At Foley OB and Aesthetics, we offer several birthing options to suit your needs:

  • Vaginal Delivery: This is the natural way of giving birth through the birth canal. It generally has a quicker recovery time and allows for immediate bonding with your baby.

  • Cesarean Section (C-Section): A C-section is a surgical delivery through an incision in your abdomen and uterus. It may be needed if there are complications that make vaginal delivery unsafe.

  • Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC): If you’ve had a C-section before, VBAC is an option for delivering vaginally in a future pregnancy. We’ll discuss your history and options to ensure a safe delivery plan.

Our team is here to guide you through your choices and provide the best care for you and your baby.
